Thomas is a hydrologic technician with SAWSC, in the Asheville Field Office. Previously, he has worked on riparian surveys in the high elevation Sierras in California and Western Colorado, along with extensive time conducting aquatic ecology surveys via airboat and helicopter in the Everglades and South Florida. His educational background includes Marine Science, fluid dynamics, and ecosystem studies. In his free time, Thomas enjoys trail running, hiking, and mountain biking in Western North Carolina.
